It's been a couple years since my last post. Gone through 2 teachers- one telling me that my playing will just be regarded as 'hobby'. Wow needles to say, I told her I no longer needed her services.
Working on a recital now with a few other musicians God willing.

How to travel with a cello:
First the best cello to have to travel with is a Luis and Clark carbon fiber cello.
If you have a traditional cello, and must travel with it pack it well in its case by using foam behind cello, scroll, peg box, support finger board, continue to use foam on the upper bout behind the finger board. And get a good flight case!! Never ever on a traditional cello not to travel without a flight case!! Even if you have a hard case if you are flying with a wooden cello you must have a flight case!! A carbon fiber cello is much more forgivable.

At my recital I played with Javier Jimenez a locally known guitarrist who gigs at a restaurant.
Has a profound intimate knowledge on music theory and has guided me on keys and notes to play on 4 of the ballads he sang. I also played Nina, Brahms Lullaby and played along a Loreena Mckennitt song Mummers Dance.

Please note! Vitally important!
There are numerous imitators, imposters and scammers out there that even our justice system would not be able to keep up! When an item is patented it or copyrighted that means that a carbon copy cannot be legally made and the author or creator of such is the sole proprieter of the original creation and has a right to make a living out of his or her creations. The original creator for the carbon fibre stringed instruments is Luis Leguia and a number of imitators of his product have popped up here and there. As a friend and customer of the Leguias I am enfuriated by the brazen acts of some that have imitated his instruments and even say that THEY are the originators of the carbon fibre stringed instruments. If you are a musician contemplating on getting a carbon fibre instrument look no further than the LuisandClark. If you spend your hard earned money on one of those imitators you maybe sorely disappointed in the long run especially. The LuisandClark instruments were not just made for its durability and there is science and technique behind them. The LuisandClark cannot be successfully imitated w/o knowledge and research and there are those that have seen these instruments and foolishly think that they can make a replica of them and call it their own. Call it what it is -imitators who have small minds that can't come up with their own original success so they try to yank it from those that are rightfully theirs. Just remember these well known cellists, violinists have gotten these instruments and USE IT IN THEIR PERFORMANCES!!
