There are numerous imitators, imposters and scammers out there that even our justice system would not be able to keep up! When an item is patented it or copyrighted that means that a carbon copy cannot be legally made and the author or creator of such is the sole proprieter of the original creation and has a right to make a living out of his or her creations. The original creator for the carbon fibre stringed instruments is Luis Leguia and a number of imitators of his product have popped up here and there. As a friend and customer of the Leguias I am enfuriated by the brazen acts of some that have imitated his instruments and even say that THEY are the originators of the carbon fibre stringed instruments. If you are a musician contemplating on getting a carbon fibre instrument look no further than the LuisandClark. If you spend your hard earned money on one of those imitators you maybe sorely disappointed in the long run especially. The LuisandClark instruments were not just made for its durability and there is science and technique behind them. The LuisandClark cannot be successfully imitated w/o knowledge and research and there are those that have seen these instruments and foolishly think that they can make a replica of them and call it their own.
